We believe that government is of divine appointment for the interests and good order of human society. Our government leaders are to be prayed for, conscientiously honored, and obeyed except in things opposed to the will of our Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture. (Dan 3:15-18; Mat 22:21; Acts 4:19-20, 5:29; Rom 13:1-7; Phil 2:10-11; 1 Tim 2:1-2; Rev 19:16)
